    This service is suitable for you if:

    • You have relocated to Finland
    • You are a resident of Helsinki
    • You are highly educated (at least a bachelor's degree)
    • You are unemployed or working part-time
    • You have work experience in your field or have completed a higher education degree within the last 10 years
    • Your language skills are at least at B1 level in Finnish or Swedish; you can participate in the service even if you do not speak Finnish or Swedish, provided that you can find employment in your field in English (e.g., ICT, business, or research), in which case your English language skills should be at C1 level
    • You have the motivation and the prerequisites to find employment in a job corresponding to your skills

    Osallistuminen

    The service has a continuous intake process. You cannot register directly; instead, inform your specialist at Helsinki Employment Services of your interest. The team will assess whether you meet the participation criteria. If you do, you'll be invited to an information session. After attending the information session, you can make your final decision about whether or not to register.

    • relocated to Finland
    • currently living in Helsinki
    • highly educated (at least a bachelor's degree)
    • unemployed or working part-time

    • language proficiency at least B1 level in Finnish or Swedish; you can participate even if you don't know Finnish or Swedish, if employment in your field can be found in English (e.g., ICT, business, or research), then English proficiency should be at C1 level

The service aims to enhance workplace diversity and ensure that international talents are motivated to stay in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

    In our service:

    • You can benefit from meetings with your advisor, company visits, and job search coaching sessions that we offer.
    • You will gain a better understanding of the Finnish job market and employers.
    • Our advisors guide you towards training and other services, as well as help you expand your professional network and language skills.

    When you decide to participate in the service, you will be assigned an advisor from our service. Your advisor will comprehensively support your employment efforts. Our service will continue at least until the end of 2024. In addition to supporting your job search, we collaborate with employers.

    In addition to updating your employment/integration plan and other statutory services, our service path includes:

    • Individual and group coaching
    • A series of job search workshops
    • Company visits
    • Networking events
    • Personalized support, such as mock job interviews

    We also provide support and guidance for improving your Finnish language skills. Additionally, we utilize digital skills mapping and labor market statistics in our work.
